In Second Grade our students' vocabulary has a major increase. They are learning more about sentence structures and grammar. Students are getting a basic understanding of the base-ten place value system in math. In science they are conducting simple classroom and field investigations. In social studies they are learning about their community, state and national landmarks and their history.
