|(*Updated 7/27/2020*) COVID-19: Our center is currently open 24 hours – 7 days, and we are still screening all staff and students for temperatures or other signs of illness prior to entering. Parents are still not allowed past the front entrance in any building, and our staff will continue to take all children to the classroom, as well as go retrieve them for pick up.
2020-2021 School Year: Due to the new order signed by our County Judge Hildalgo, our first day of school will now be September 8th, unless she decides to extend that order. We would like to start with IN CLASSROOM learning as soon as possible, but are being held back by our local officials. We will be taking extra precautions to maintain the safety of the staff and students, and will continue with our daily screenings of both. Children 10 years and older will be required to wear a mask, and those 9 years and younger will not. There have been many questions regarding after school care for those children attending public schools. We will do our best to continue to provide transportation services to those schools who are open, however we may not be able to pick up from the number of schools we have in the past. Once the middle of August is here, we should have a much better idea of what each district is doing. Those children who will be participating in online learning and here during school hours will have access to the internet, but must provide their own computer device and be proficient in logging into their online school portal. We will have classrooms and staff set up to assist students who are participating in online and remote learning.
We know how important it is to find childcare you really trust and,
